Lead Animator

Rockstar Toronto is looking for a talented and creative Lead Animator to join our team. Applicants should have three to five years of related professional experience and have shipped at least two video game titles (preferably AAA quality).

Responsibilities:

• Work with Design, Art and Animation directors to achieve overall creative vision for the game
• Offer guidance and mentoring for the animation team
• Manage the day to day operations of the animation department
• Deliver assets on schedule and within technical specifications

Requirements:

• Expert level experience with 3DS Max and/or Motion Builder-Experience with animation pipelines within a game development environment
• A thorough understanding of character pipeline including modeling, rigging, skinning.
• Experience with motion captured animation data
